The rooms are arranged in succession around a large marble staircase. We decided to maintain the original character of the house, including its general layout.
Thus, the complex but incisive project was designed to preserve this important historical heritage.
Reinterpreting the floor plans in order to adapt them to the new requirements, we rediscovered materials and elements of the period. Bespoke terrazzo flooring in white marble and narrow wall panelling in dark wood were inserted alongside the new materials by means of clever architectural stratagems.
